Throughout the Andes Mountains of Peru the ancient language of Quechua is spoken. Mayu means river of light, river of stars, and the Milky Way. It also happens to be the first two syllables of my name. The flow of the river of life has led me to the practice of shamanic energy medicine. I live in the land of rivers called Rivierenland along the Waal and close to the Maas, in the Netherlands. It is here that I open my doors for my practice.
Yumi or yami, also from the Quechua language, is used in the phrase ayllu yami, which means “we are well” as a community. It is based on the idea that to be well, we all have to be well. I cannot be well if you are not well. I cannot be well if the earth is not well. There is no point to be well alone because our wellness depends on our communion with other living beings — we are all connected.
When you heal yourself, you heal the world around you. Our world is currently undergoing tremendous shifts and changes. As a result of these shifts, you may be inspired to make some changes in your life. Together we can bring forward your true nature — the best possible version of you.
Live your truth in love, peace, joy, harmony, beauty and grace
Give yourself the gift of personal growth and transformation
Allow your wounds become sources of wisdom, medicine and power
